We’re delighted to announce a 20% cost reduction for local residents and organisations. Our Hall Hiring Policy is effective from 1st April 2026. We’re reducing hiring rates and introducing new, risk-assessed refundable deposits for residents of Broad Hinton & Winterbourne Bassett parishes and groups of direct benefit to the community.
New local residents’ hiring rates:
Refundable deposits
There will be no refundable deposit required for most resident hirings, just a £250 deposit for higher risk events. Refundable deposits remain for non-resident hirings, of between £250 – £1,000, depending on risk.
We’re also introducing Special Rates for groups or people trying out a new activity which benefits the community. £1 per hour for the first 6 sessions, then a 50% discount for the next 6 sessions. A great example of this is Phil’s Shed, a Men’s Mental Health Club starting on Tuesday 3rd March 7pm-9pm, which you’ll no doubt see advertised elsewhere in the Local News.
