“At the Heart of the Community”

Fundraising has been important for BHVH, to continue the repayment of the Charity Bank Loan. Originally scheduled for repayment in May 2034, we have continued to bring this date ever nearer.

Thanks to generous donations and hard work fund raising, we totally repaid the loan in May 2017, exactly eight years from the date of the first payment.

Seventeen years early is quite an achievement and one which we celebrated with a great party!

fund-raising is still important and we do this in a variety of ways:
Hiring income from individuals and businesses
Donations continue from generous individuals in our community, local groups such as BHADS and local businesses
Events are run throughout the year, to entertain the community as well as raise funds
300 Club is run every year
Easyfundraising gives us donations from retailers every time you shop
