BHVH Covid Update

The Post Office remains in the meeting room on Tuesday morning from 9 until midday and this will continue. In addition, from 12th April, we will gradually begin to reopen in accordance with the government’s Step 2 guidelines. From that date, we’ll be able to open for:

  • Indoor parent & child groups of up to 15 people (under fives are not counted in the figure of 15)
  • Weddings & Wakes of up to 15

This will, of course, be subject to the Government’s review. We will provide a further update in late April, to let you know what will potentially change at Step 3, on the 17th May.

Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE) have been providing support for teams like ours who are responsible for community buildings. Using their guidance, we’ve completed a risk assessment and guidance information.

During these Covid times, BHVH has become very popular; it’s easier to socially distance than in some other venues. The hall is almost always booked on weekday evenings, but we do still have weekday, day time slots available – to hire, go to our booking pages, but hurry, or all the good ones will be gone!
